Students at UW- Tacoma can complete the Construction Management minor through a mix of coursework offered on the Tacoma campus and hybrid courses.
The minor in Construction Management gives students core skills in documents reading, estimating, project planning and scheduling, and safety.
Steps to declare a minor in Construction Management:
- Run your degree audit – Run a degree audit for your major and for the Construction Management minor. Make sure to select Seattle to view the CM minor. See which classes you have completed and what remains.
- Declare the minor with your academic advisor – You will work with your major academic advisor to declare the minor after you have earned 45 credits toward your degree.
- Create your course plan – work with your academic advisor to understand the critical path to minor completion
