Construction Management (CM) is a technical program that includes a combination of Engineering, Architecture, and Business.  While there are industrial elements in the curriculum, you won’t focus on learning a trade or gaining technical expertise.  Although construction experience of any kind is helpful, it’s not required for admission into the program.

CM students are hands-on learners, interested in a practical degree.  Our students are often good at math and project management.  They may also have an interest in design, or enjoy working outside.  CM jobs are available in both the public and private sectors, with government agencies, general and specialty contractors, home-builders, consulting firms, real estate developers, and construction material suppliers.  Students typically start in positions such as field supervision, management, construction project planning & scheduling, cost estimating, or sales.

Our nationally accredited program is highly regarded in the industry.  To achieve and maintain accreditation through the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) we must adhere to stringent industry standards of content and quality.  This ensures that our students receive a comprehensive education that enables them to perform well in a broad range of professional roles.

Three Undergraduate paths:

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (nationally accredited by the ACCE)
• Dual Degree in Architectural Design and Construction Management
• Minor in Construction Management

Three Graduate paths:

• Master of Science in Construction Management (in-person option)
• Master of Science in Construction Management (virtual option)
• Master of Science in Construction Management with Real Estate
