General Job Duties:

  1. Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and other team members.
  2. Develop understanding of contracts, subcontracts and tracking systems for budgets.
  3. Prepare and distribute in a timely manner accurate meeting minutes, change order requests, submittals, and RFI(s).
  4. Compile and maintain closeout documents, warranty letters, O&M manuals, and as-built documents per the specification.
  5. Write contracts, change order requests and purchase orders as directed.
  6. Review, analyze, and resolve field construction problems with the site superintendent.
  7. Analyze the project construction documents in preparation for generation of bid packages for subcontractor bids.
  8. Monitor labor and materials costs to ensure subcontractor T&M work tags match change order requests
  9. Ability to use project management platforms such as Procore or Prolog
  10. Perficient in scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera.
  11. Perficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  12. Ensure correct materials and quantities arrive in accordance with critical path construction schedules.
  13. Conduct quality control inspections to verify and ensure work put in place is in compliance with construction plans, specification, industry standards, and building codes.
  14. Wiliness to work in both an office and jobsite environment along with occasional travel and options to telecommute.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.  Certification in Construction Management also accepted in conjunction with field experience. Education & experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable, equivalent combination of education, experience, or training is acceptable.
