Faber Construction is looking for a full-time Project Engineer for our Woodinville office. This position assists and supports the Project Manager and the Superintendent on assigned projects.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to below:

  • Provide project administrative support for project managers, including assisting with the distribution of required documents and correspondence
  • Act as a project liaison between Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors
  • Initial project setup of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals, RFIs, design changes and shop drawings
  • Track project materials, products and deliveries
  • Initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute project RFIs
  • Aid in development of and provide updates to construction schedules based on project team input, subcontractor progress and product delivery
  • Assist in Change Order management systems with the Clients and Subcontractors, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and assembly
  • Coordinate/facilitate contract close-out requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in construction management, commercial general contracting, or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent – Preferred
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Functions effectively as part of a team
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Procore a plus, but not required
  • Broad understanding of industry
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Good time management skills and organizational skills
