Position Overview
Work as an integral contributor to a busy commercial construction team. Demonstrate ability as an independent, solution-driven employee. Assist field personnel, foremen, project managers, and customers. Manage project related information flow through all levels of the organization.

Essential Job Functions
 Create and manage electronic job logs and documentation within 24 hour turnaround time
 Assist in preparation of extra work pricing and facilitate timely collection of change orders
 Organize, document, summarize, route, and store all project documentation: RFI, CCD, ASI, Changes, plans
 Collect and track GC contract documents – relay important details and terms to foremen and management team
 Assist with examining project documents to determine & produce requested product & technical documentation
 Assist with drawing up Sub-Tier contract documents
 Assist with analyzing plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare job budgets
 Coordinate use of tools and equipment across all job sites
 Research vendors and negotiate prices for tools, equipment and materials
 Ensure that Foremen have all necessary safety equipment
 Assist with preparing required documents for pre-construction and post-construction meetings with Foremen
 Assist with identifying and coordinating the implementation of valuable cost-saving and quality-enhancement measures to meet profit objectives
 When a new job contract is received, prepare all related product submittals as requested by the GC
 Track and manage tool inventory locations and keep all tools and supplies in the shop organized
 Collect and analyze daily production data from job sites to measure project progress
 Engage in problem solving for projects in an effort to maintain efficient and profitable workflow on the job sites
 Visit job sites regularly with Project Manager to better understand project conditions and needs and to review whether quality and production goals are being met
 Comply with established office procedures while providing input for continuous process improvement

 Proficient command of verbal and written communication, active listening, and efficient time management
 Critical problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict management skills
 Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services, including customer assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
 Strong computer skills, must be able to operate Windows, Microsoft Office Applications, On-Center On-Screen Takeoff™ and Quick Bid™
 Ability to be result- and solution-focused, yet deeply attentive to details
 Ability to work cooperatively contributing to the success of a team environment, as well as work independently, taking autonomous initiative to seek out new responsibilities/challenges in a free-structured, entrepreneurial environment
 Ability to effectively manage high stress situations and operate effectively under pressure
 Ability to provide punctual, dependable work attendance, and operate efficiently without supervision
 2 year degree in construction management or similar coursework and training required
 Prior experience in the construction industry required
 Valid Washington State Driver’s license required

General Physical Requirements
 Requires ability to move throughout the office and job sites. Must be able to lift and carry office equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds. Position requires hand manipulative skills for word processing, 10-key and writing. Must be able to hear verbal conversations over the phone and in-person with background noise. Must have visual ability to consistently identify objects and persons at a distance and read fine print on records and forms. Ability to speak clearly and make oneself understood in a one-on-one basis and in a varied of informal group settings.
